Winery Design

From general process flow to the small details that make a big difference in efficiency, convenience, and ergonomics, Rigby Viniculture provides the following winery planning and design services:

Business Plan  We can write your business plan in accordance with your vision for your winery. The business plan considers many variables such as wine styles, types of grapes and cost, number of cases of production, retail vs. wholesale business, growth rate and many others.

Production Layout   Important production layout considerations include the number, style and size of tanks, the number of barrels required, and the amount of case storage needed. The production layout will incorporate efficient process flow and will consider the owner’s plans for winery tours (tourist circulation).

Process Flow The goal of proper equipment layout is to allow efficient use by the winemaker so that crush tasks flow with relative ease. Design that does not take process flow into account leads to an inefficient and labor-intensive crush. Rigby Consulting Services will minimize inefficiencies and maximize time spent achieving important goals at crush time and throughout the year.

Tourist Access Rigby Viniculture’s design intent is to minimize any interruption in work flow by the tourist, while maximizing the tourist’s experience and ability to see all phases of the wine making process.

Equipment Selection and Purchase Our experience will help you make wise choices of winery equipment. Rigby Viniculture will obtain competitive quotes while introducing you to the pros and cons of various vendors and products.
